A Brief History
Founded in 1947, Appalachian Tire Products, Inc. now operates 10 stores located in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. We also have a state-of-the-art Goodyear Authorized Retread plant.

Located in the heart of coal country, we specialize in underground mine tires and wheels. Appalachian Tire employs approximately 100 people and has more than 75 vehicles to help meet our customers\’ needs.

For our medium commercial truck tire customers with Goodyear and Michelin National Accounts, we provide 24 hour emergency road service. Additionally, our GTRACS retread system allows a customer to track the performance of their casings.
